We will continue to have Band Practice on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 5:15 pm -8:30 pm until Thanksgiving. Plan to arrive at 5:00 pm and be ready to go at 5:15 pm.

Participation is mandatory. If you have any conflicts please see Mr. Edwards.

Students must wear their Blue Practice shorts and their White Practice t-shirt, white athletic shoes and white socks.

Bring water-bottles, sunscreen, bug-spray. We will be outside all night unless there is lightning. Eat a light dinner before practice as we go the entire time without a food break. There will be plenty of water breaks.

The band director works with the Booster Board to create a budget each year that is an estimation of the necessary operation expenses needed for the following school year. Some of these expenses are covered through school board contributions, but it is necessary to charge each student to cover additional expenses such as music, additional marching, guard and percussion instructors, transportation and other miscellaneous items.

Marching Band/Color Guard Fees are $1,000.00 per student. There are several ways to pay band fees. You can work 12 Rays games to cover your band fees. If you choose not to work any Rays games, band fees can be paid all at once or you can make monthly payments. Please contact the band treasurer, to work out a payment schedule or to inquire about available band scholarships.

If you prefer to pay online, we offer PAYPAL as a way to pay band fees, uniforms, or trip costs.

Using PayPal, you’ll have the benefits of making payments using your credit or debit card or linking to your checking account for a secure withdraw directly from your checking account.

NOTE: When using PayPal, you must increase your payment by 3.2% to cover the cost of the processing fee. Any transactions completed without the fee will have the fee added to their next student account statement.
